If I asked you, “what’s your favourite moment with your child”…what would you say?
I asked myself this question earlier today and it brought up all kinds of emotions, because you know what?
I wasn’t sure of the answer.
I have a vision in my mind of the mom I want to be…some days I’m close to that vision. A lot of other days I’m nowhere near it, and that’s ok.
I don’t want anything much, really – it seems simple.
Or. maybe it’s the hardest thing of all, I’m not sure.
I want to feel relaxed.
I want to feel present.
I want to engage with him and laugh with him and grow with him. Grow together.
It sounds so simple. and it can be.
It can be.
